Pink Flowers
Pink flowers tend to maintain a fairly constant meaning regardless of the exact hue. This meaning is also often held regardless of particular species, though it can come into play as much as is desirable. In general, however, pink refers to youthful sweetness. This includes aspects such as grace, gentility, youth, innocence, joy, playfulness, and happiness.
Of course, the hue of pink flowers can be matched with the exact intent of the bouquet. For instance, a lighter pink may emphasize the lighter, carefree aspects of the choice. On the other hand, a darker pink can add more romantic depth or simply increased depth of appreciation.
Pink flowers come in many popular species. Some of the most fundamental and basic include roses, lilies, and carnations. Of course, there are also many stranger options, such as the pink torch ginger. The Heliconia chartacea is another tropical and exotic type of pink flower. However, its size makes it a less practical heliconia option for bouquets.
