Flower delivery methods have come a long way over the course of their history. In the beginning, the only option was to place orders through the local florist. Today, options are not longer limited to simply local destinations. In addition to this, the methods through which such orders have been placed have also seen an incredible shift.

One of the greatest improvements for flower delivery service came with the invention of the telephone. In fact, there are many national companies set up specifically to take orders, who are not florists themselves. Rather, they may make the calls or place orders for their customers.

Flower delivery arrangements can also be done online. This has its own particular benefits and drawbacks. For example, doing so takes less time and effort. However, additional charges of shipping, handling, and other service fees may arise.
