Blue Flowers

Blue flowers come in a striking variety of tones and styles. As with all flower colors, there are some variations within their meanings. However, the tone of a blue flower often has a lot more to do with its meaning than its species.

Darker blue flowers are often viewed as more regal. Some associations with such depth include trustworthiness, confidence, unity, and intelligence. More mid-tone types may be viewed as representing faithfulness and loyalty. For that reason, it has been popular for wedding elements to have that color.

The blue flowers with lighter appearances will often have a focus on lighter being. These softer hues are often comparable to the sun or some bodies of water. They have come to symbolize peace, tranquility, calmness, and harmony.
